1. Booking and price

Camping is available only for the nights of 14 and 15 August 2026. The charge is £10 per pitch, per night, not per person. One payment reserves one pitch for one night. Book and pay separately for additional pitches or for both nights.

2. Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 1pm on the booked date. Pitches must be vacated and left tidy by 10am the following morning. Please check in using the name shown on the payment.

3. Facilities and expectations

This is basic field camping, not a holiday park. Toilets are provided, but there are no showers. Campers must bring their own tent and camping equipment. Uneven ground, insects, wildlife, weather and normal countryside conditions should be expected.

4. Food, slide and other activities

Hot food, hot drinks, refreshments and ice cream are expected to be available from 8am to 9pm. Campers can purchase half-price entry to Kernow Slide during advertised opening sessions, subject to capacity, weather, operating decisions and the normal slide rules. There are no other activities or entertainment outside slide opening hours.

5. Groups, children and behaviour

Families, children, groups and celebration parties are welcome. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or supervising adult at all times. Guests must be considerate to staff, neighbours and other campers. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am. Excessive noise, threatening behaviour or serious disruption may result in the whole group being asked to leave without a refund.

6. Fire, cooking and safety

No open fires, fire pits or disposable barbecues directly on the grass. Any permitted cooking equipment must be stable, raised clear of the grass, supervised while in use and fully extinguished afterwards. Follow all staff instructions and keep access routes clear.

7. Rubbish, damage and belongings

Leave the pitch clean and take or correctly dispose of all rubbish. Guests are responsible for damage caused by their group. Vehicles, tents and personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk; Kernow Slide is not responsible for loss or damage unless caused by its negligence.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Bookings are non-refundable if the customer changes their plans or does not attend. If Kernow Slide cancels the camping night for safety or operational reasons, the camping payment for the affected night will be refunded. A closure or change to the slide does not automatically cancel the camping booking.

9. Data and confirmation emails

Customer contact and billing details supplied during payment are used to administer the booking, send confirmations and keep necessary business records. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on this website.
